SurfaceGenie

Lead Developer: Matthew Waas

SurfaceGenie is a web-application for computing the GenieScore, a prioritization metric that integrates a consensus-based prediction of cell surface localization with user-input data to rank-order candidate cell-type specific surface markers. This prioritization strategy is applicable for analyzing human and rodent data from proteomic and transcriptomic experiments. Available modifications of the GenieScore enable prioritization of co-expressed and intracellular cell-type specific candidate markers.

The tools provided in the SurfaceGenie app enable effective prioritization of candidate cell-type specific markers to support a broad range of research questions, from mechanistic to disease-related studies, including immunophenotyping, immunotherapy, and drug targeting.
